N.Y.C. takes a fateful turn while he is enlisted to work on the Manhattan Venture. The hypothetical physicist triumphed- the Nobel Treasure in 1965. Powerful while handling the love tale, although strolls while Feynman moves to Los Alamos. Broderick’s directorial debut; inscribed bi’ his mom, Pang. Cast includes Matthew Broderick, Patricia Arquette, Peter Riegert, Dori Brenner, and James LeGros. (117 minutes, 1996)

The Awesome O’Malley: Sappy film of ruthless cop O’Brien and meager guy Bogart who has lame baby girl and turns to offense to aid her. This is a pretty tacky film. Cast includes Pat O’Brien, Humphrey Bogart, Ann Sheridan, Donald Crisp, Mary Gordon, Frieda Inescort, and Sybil Jason. (71 minutes, 1937)

Cocktail: Brian Flanagan, and his boss Doug are bartenders like no other. Both Brian and Doug would like to have their own bar some day. Brian goes to Jamaica to earn money to realize his dream. While working in Jamaica he meets, and falls in love with Jordan. When Doug shows up and dares him to sleep with an older woman, he destroys his relationship with Jordan. He then fights to get her back.

King Lear: This rendition of Shakespeare catastrophe might be bulky going for the uninitiated, although often a hefty and gratifying experience. Cast includes Paul Scofield, Irene Worth, Jack MacGowran, Alan Webb, Cyril Cusack, and Patrick Magee. (137 minutes, 1971)

The Italian: It was a brilliant heist that went of perfectly. The only thing left is to split up the loot. Steve pulls a double cross and attempts to kill all the others and take the money for himself. He gets away with the cash, but only kills the head of the operation John. Now the rest of the gang, and his daughter Stella, are out with a vengeance to get their money back, and deal with Steve.

A phrase like “Online DVDs Rental” might get a good result. Try a new phrase if that one did not work. Switch to “Download Movies Sites” and see if you find what you are looking for.

That Thing You Do: This movie tells the story of a small rock band that makes a record, and it becomes a hit. The Wonders ride the wave of success from their one hit ‘That Thing You Do’, and get a record contract, and a tour. In a short few months they live through the excitement of being discovered to dealing with the pressures of fame.

The Abandoned: An American adoptee gets snared in an endless maze of terror while, after getting a bizarre invitation, she goes back to Russia to find out where here roots are. In her dark and scary childhood home, she is tested by untold evil powers and troubling mysteries from her past. This film is a European throwback, in the horror genre. Anastasia Hille, Karel Roden, Valentin Ganev, and Carlos Reig-Plaza are the main cast Nacho Cerda directs (2007 Horror)

Bugles in the Afternoon: Normal story of guy branded a coward (MilIand) throughout the Civil War, with a Little Bighorn finale. Cast includes Ray Milland, Forrest Tucker, George Reeves, Helena Carter, and Gertrude Michael. (85 minutes, 1952)

Training Day: Jake Hoyt wants to be a narcotics officer in the LAPD. To get the job he first must do one day of training on the streets with a veteran agent. Jake is assigned to spend the day with agent Alonso Harris. Jake is in for the ride of his life.

Mrs. Brown: Gratifying drama set in the 1860s. Monarch Victoria Bench has been in grieving for years, following the mortality of her cherished spouse Albert; living in Windsor Castle, away from London and communal life, she only comes out of her shell while her spouse’s believed Highland rider, John Brown Connolly, declines to pamper her. An irregular relation creates between the 2-much to the consternation of everyone else on the Empress’s staff. Prosperously detailed, with 2 splendid behaviors at the forefront; Sher is additionally impressive as the bewildered Benjamin Disraeli. Absolute Beginners: This film is a British musical. The musical themes are jazzed based with Sade included in the performance. The film is set in London in the late 50′s, with young men and women coming of age as the setting. Eddie O’Connell, Patsy Kensit, David Bowie, and James Fox star. (1986 musical)

Discloser: Tom Sanders, head of operation at a high tech company, is passed over for a key promotion. He now finds himself working for a woman that he had an affair with. When she aggressively makes sexual advances at him, he sues for sexual harassment.

Ivan the Terrible: Continuance of the legend of King Ivan IV, in which he takes on the boyars in a battle for electricity. Impressive film is just a shade underneath its predecessor, Banned by Stalin due to debatable illustration of Ivan’s secret patrol, and not discharged till 1958. The controller had prepared to shoot Part 3-which, useless to affirm, he by no means did. Buffet-dance pattern was initially in color. Cast includes Nikolai Cherkassov; Serafima Birman, Mikhail Nazvanov, Pavel Kadochnikov, and Andrei Abrikosov. (88 minutes, 1946)

Marin County Has Many Excellent Fairs and Festivals

Marin County is blessed in the number and quality of fairs and festivals that it enjoys throughout the summer season. The following is just a sampling of those events, most of which are held in southern Marin County.

In 2009, the Mountain Play celebrated its 96th year with a musical called Man of La Mancha. The schedule began at the end of May and ran weekly through June 21. The play is held at the Cushing Memorial Amphitheatre at Mount Tamalpais State Park in Mill Valley. Tickets were $23 to $40. While some hike or bike to the venue, shuttle buses are provided and driving is discouraged since parking is limited. www.mountainplay.org, Tel: (415) 383-1100.

Each year, the Italian Street Painting Festival is held from 9 am to 7 pm on two days in mid-June in downtown San Rafael. The medium is chalk. Entrance is free. www.youthinarts.org; Tel: (415) 457-4878, ext. 15

The Marin Arts Festival is held on two days in the latter part of June at the Marin Center Lagoon at the Marin Civic Center in San Rafael. More than 250 artists display their work and many kinds of music are performed. www.marinartsfestival.com, Tel: (415) 388-0151.

The Tiburon Music Festival is held over the course of 5 days in June at St. Hilary Church in Tiburon. It celebrates chamber music and chamber opera with performances by Marin classical musicians. Tickets are $10 and $20. www.tiburonmusicfestival.org, Tel: (415) 457-5226.

In late June, the San Anselmo Art and Wine Festival is held for two days on San Anselmo Avenue. 200 artists also display their works. Tel: (415) 454-2510, www.sananselmochamber.org.

Running from 11 am to 11 pm for five days in the beginning of July, the biggest event in the county held annually is the Marin County Fair. Where: the Marin County Fairgrounds on Civic Center Drive in San Rafael. In 2010, the Fair will celebrate its 65th year. It’s a celebration of the past and future with typical competitions such as pie baking and dairy cattle competitions, resulting in 10,000 exhibits. There are also countless concerts, carnival rides, amusements and nightly fireworks. Tickets are $12-$14. www.marinfair.org.

The Tiburon Art Festival is held over the course of two days in the latter part of August along “Art Row” in Tiburon. www.tiburon-artfestival.com.

Over Labor Day Weekend in September, a very important happening is the Sausalito Art Festival, held along Bridgeway and Marinship Park over four days. This annual outdoor event features fine art and sculpture, delicious food and beverages and big name musical entertainment. The Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival is held in the latter part of September for two days at the Old Mill Park on Throckmorton Avenue at Cascade. It highlights over 100 craftspeople from around the country with work in 15 categories. There is also live music and entertainment for children with magic, puppets and marionettes, stories and songs.
